The last two posts, I agree 100% with. The forum is going down the pan rapidly, I also don't believe for one second, that other forums, are the source of the spamming. Then again, I don't take kindly to people posting multiple posts, suggesting I do this, that and the other. I am fully aware of the security issues which probably exist here, I am also a member of the recent new UK forum. I am usually a member on many (2 or 3) forums per make of bike, so I am aware what is "out there". Is there no way on earth will the hosting company, transfer the site to someone else on here, even if the situation were explained to them ? I know that is probably clutching at straws, but unless you ask, you never know. I genuinely believe members on here have attempted to contact the site owner and if he has decided (for whatever reason) not to reply with even a "piss off", then that is a pretty poor do, I will stay here to the end, then decide from there.

It is XPlane, unless something well serious has happened to Andy, then not to answer any e-mails about the forum is quite odd, especially as he had the interest to start it. Like I said, I will wait until the "ship" goes down.

Is the owner even alive or maybe lying comatose in some hospital bed? Anything's possible.

To own a forum and disappear for this long is highly unusual.
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

Does anyone here live near Nottingham?
Perhaps someone might pay a visit to see if he's doing okay.

Indeed - I was one of the people who tried to contact him but never got a reply. I had the same thought, I hope he is doing OK.
I'd really like to see this forum continue. If anyone who lives locally can help in that regard, everyone would be really grateful I suspect (I will be)!!!

Firstly and foremost I hope the fact that the site owner being MIA is not due to ill health but some less sinister reason.
Secondly, is there anyone out there with the IT skills and time who is willing to put their hand up and get a copycat site up & running in the event that if one day, we do click on this link only to find blank page.
Yes there are other sites out there to join, but I see that there are many members on here that have been here since the sites inception, I'm a relative noobie and been here only a few months, but have found the MT10forum crew a great bunch of people with a shload of expertise and a wealth of experience.
Also the humour and lack of political correctness on this site probably wouldn't be appreciated on some other sites.

General concern for the forum is now rightly so turning into more specific and much greater personnel concern for admin/owner Andy.

Agree missing in action for so long without any clear-off or quit message is highly unusual.

An accident would account for sudden and prolonged absence.

Really hope that nothing bad happened. There have been offers to take over etc but all meet total silence which is indicating an accident or the likes is probable.

Yeah this site kicked-off at the same time as the MT/FZ-10 launch release.

I can, but I'd rather ingest the site (with newer forum software) rather than set it and usernames up from scratch.
