    Newby from Scotlandshire

    Hi all.
Have just registered as I have ordered an MT10 SP.

I am trading In my highly modified Tuono/rsv4 hybrid.

Having owned it for 4 years it's time for a change.

Looking forward to picking your brains once I pick up the SP

    Regards

    Steve

    (Non instant) welcome...

Wow response demand from another future owner. Hmm registering with the over 1900 of us may not be as big as getting the bike to Scotlandshire.

    Enjoy SP.

Sorry mate. Don't have a clue what you are saying lol.

    Lost in translation I guess.

Was recommended to this site as there seem to be a lot of knowledgeable peeps.

I usually extensively modify my bike to suit my needs / desires, but the SP is coming to me with a few goodies already fitted such as Akrapovic exhaust, axle protectors, gel seat, cooler guards so we will see where I go from here.

Previous bike was extensively modified by me from a big standard Tuono V4 to a fire breathing dragon running 8 injectors and the new RSV4 headers and airbox alongside a custom flashed Ecu to make the most of the extra 4 injectors.

    Spec sheet:

    2012 Tuono APRC

Current spec list after 3 years 10 months of ownership.
    2012 Tuono/RSV4 APRC Spec sheet.

    Akrapovic carbon exhaust hanger

    Fueling:

^ Holy smoke that's serious modding & a fortune. SP will be unrecognisable in 10 months time. Good platform to begin on.

    Thank X-plane

I am going to "try" and reign myself in a little on the SP and just enjoy the bike, but I do enjoy modding almost as much as riding so who knows.

    Already ordered a few bits.
R&G boot guards and crash bungs
Custom LED integrated rear light. Had one on my R1 and loved it.
Currently looking for a bellypan that suits the bike. Ermax seems to be in top.
And I'm after a decat pipe the will match up with the stock headers and akra can.

Will update my biography when I get back to the UK. (Currently on holiday)

    Bit about myself......

    51, married, 3 "kids" & 3 grandkids.

    Live east coast of Scotland.
Originally from South east London, but escaped in 86.

    Other hobbies.
    Former powerlifter now bodybuilder.

I entered my first ever bb competition this year in April and placed 3rd in the masters over 50 at lochgelly,
Major achievement for me as I was a 19 stone fat fcuk when I was powerlifting and stepped on stage at 14st,10lbs and absolutely shredded.

Work wise. I work for the biggest Trade union in the U.K.
Based in Glasgow, but predominantly work from home or the district office in Dundee.

    Bike history.

It all started with Yamaha back in the day.
    RD125 dx

Had various sport bikes including and R1 5vy and a Gsxr 1000 k4 that I nearly killed myself on.
Broken vertebrae, 7 broken ribs (1 completely detached) and a punctured lung.

The rehab from this is what got me into weight lifting lol.

    That's me anyway.

Look forward to being part of the group and sucking your brains dry
