    Personally I've never bothered with crash protection as I'll just let insurance sort it out. Let's hope i never need it lol.

    Should I invest in headlight protectors? I see they're 20 bucks on ebay...

    Crash protection is MUCH cheaper than using your insurance (I have to pay 800 GBP to use my insurance), not to mention the rate hike you get if you use it.

    But what else would get damaged is what concerns me, I don't know as fortunately I'm yet to wreck a bike.

    This is a good example when crash protectors are worth it. Even if you just tip your bike, low side at low speed or someone else manages to tip your bike.

    IMHO. As the lights are small and are plastic and are not glass, the risk is low / lower, so I'd say nope.
