    Tyres you dont like.

2200 miles done and the oe rear Bridgestone is done. I've read through the tyre threads and still don't know what to replace them with.

Anyone put tyres on they don't like?

Had Michelin PR4s on my Versys which lasted well and felt ok but not sure how well they will cope with the performance of the MT.

Im not a track day guy so longer lasting and good in the wet are important.

Chatting with the guys at Micheldever tyres and going with one of these next, prob the RS this time and a tourer next. I'm in the same boat at 2.5k.
The Pirelli's also where just as popular but quicker wearing.

I had PR4s on my MT-09 and I did like them but the original Dunlops were poor. I think that a hyper-sport bike like the 10 can greatly benefit from staying on hypersport tyres.

I Think that the 10 can over come Pr4s slightly and slide them and the TC may have to work more if riding powering on banked over. That is me tho. I Think PR4 grand for some but the 10 is a quick bike.

I replaced my original S20 rear tyre at 2500 miles, with the much better new Bridgestone S21 and I love and recommend them.

I toured on the rear S21 no probs. And after putting 2550 miles on the S21r I got puncture in it tho and decided best to replace it with another S21. With the 2550 miles on it I guess that that S21 would have done around another 1500 miles thread remaining, estimate a rear S21 do about 3500 to 4000 miles.

SO, at 5050 miles on the bike I put new S21 front and rear, a big thumbs for the S21 they last longer and grip better and feel more positive feedback than the original s20.

Michelin PR4 would last a good bit longer but the better performance of s21 hypersports are fantastic even on damp wet roads.

Although I don't yet have my 10 I am using S21 on my very torquey VTR. They have done 4000 miles so far and still have at least 1000 left.
When I finally get my 10 S21 will be my first choice at tire change time.

I even like the Bridgestone S21 tyres in the wet / damp roads.

I had PR4's on my last bike (Multistrada 1200) and took a very long time to trust them, they were great in the wet but in the dry the front felt nervous especially on cornering in a spirited fashion, which is what the -10 is all about.

I have always liked Metzeler tyres so the M7RR will be going on the MT-10, although the garage I use keep saying to fit the Roadtec 01, he says they're 95% as sporty, last twice as long and better than a PR4 in the wet. He has a pair on his Hypermotard so I dunno, might give them a whirl.

    So many differing opinions???
My mrs has Pirelli Angel GT's on her Street Triple and likes them (She lost the front under braking on her previous Street using PR3s......end of that bike + broken arm)
Think the Pirelli's may be top of my list so far

I've got the Roadtec 01 and have found them to be the most sure footed tyre I've used..ever!

Think I'm sold on the Bridgestone S21's for the next set, given the S20's have been pretty good for OE and they are well priced.

Not to mention X Plane's tested em thoroughly

Choices choices... Think of the S21 as way far better feel and feedback, more and better consistent grip and they last longer than the ok but less feedback S20. S21 rear still matches with a S20 front. But when I got a S21 on front and the back they are great good feel, brilliant turn in is magic and the bike loves them.

Actually from your pic above your rear looks to me to still have a bit of wear life still remaining.

Good luck with whatever you choose.
