I've acquire me a set of these Pirelli's. I'll fit them soon.

Their light weight swung it for me, plus the free bike cover and 30 refund.

I've only done 50 miles on these GT's.

However, I like them already. They've a nice light flexible feel. Think they be best rode in TC2 road setting Mode tho, as I rode S21's in TC1 track Mode, but the Angel's can / did slip a bit easier when powering on round banked over, that's to be expected. Nothing bad I was just finding their Traction level. Their feed back is good. I just need to get anything over 4000 miles life and the sports-touring be option dead on at the moment for trips etc. So I'm initially happy that I bought these Pirelli's to try.

    Cheers for the info

^ Yup. I Have a few trips to do.

I Have actually found myself riding quicker on the sporty-sports-tourer Pirelli tyre than S21. My excuse was is I was finding what the sports-touring tyre can do. However, that is just me. I rode quick on the S21 in a way that was not too hard on the S21, so as to not overly wear the S21 out too fast, if you get my drift.

So as the Angel GT's won't wear before your very eyes and visibly between each 100 mile ride like the S21 did then I am pushing these Pirelli tyres harder and my progress has not being any slower, in fact as I say I'm pushing on more as I'm not trying save the tyres, in fact I'm trying to use them, but as I say that is me.

There is less grip if powering on in 2nd gear up round tight turns but still ok and good feel and no less fun.

So for me it's not really a bad compromise on the roads. If it get much over 4000 miles I'll be happy.

Happy enough at moment as I've now done 150 miles on these GT's and they soaking up bumps better that the S21 and their rolling resistance is less.

I can ride just as well if not better as I'm more content to push the Pirelli on for now.

I Might consider another set of wheels tho.

Update... having just fitted on a set of Pirelli Angel GT tyres, I've now done over 400 miles on them and I like them. They are actually great.

I'd hazard a guess the rear may last me around 4000 to 5000 miles of Sporting rides on and a few trips etc. A rear may well do over 5k miles if I go easier on it, but I find myself not saving it by the way I'm riding it.

I rode quick on S21s but i tried to ride in a way that was not overly hard on the tyres. But now with the Angel GT's on I find I'm not concerned with tyre wear rates and i ride on in away that does try to use the tyres. I'm finding myself at times as fast if not riding quicker with the Pirelli's on than with the S21's on; which generally I tried to save the sports tyre.

I've previously had 4 off rear Bridgestone Battlax S20/S21 sport tyres on and 2 of their fronts on over the past 10000 miles.

So these Pirelli Angel's are the first sports-touring tyres that I've had on the MT-10.

I though I'd really miss the super sticky S21 sports rubber, tho when I pushed the Angel GT's on I found that they are grand.

The rear will / should I guess last me a few thousand miles or more the average 2400 miles or so that I got from the Bridgestone S21 Battlax.

The Pirelli's being a light weight tyre helps the suspension, so they say, but that does seem the case and swung it for me when choicing which sport-touring tyre to get. Their more sporty side of sports-touring also swung and did it for me.

They soak up rough road surface ripples quite well too.

    So there you go.

These Angel GT tires will be first on my list to replace the Angel GT's that are now on,did 13.500kms on them so far. In the wet they are confident inspiring though I am not choosing to ride in wet conditions, but sometimes you have to. That is why another option could be Pirelli Corsa's.
I use the tires not as hard of some of you guys, no track days, but I do use the complete width of the rear tire. The Angel GT logo on both edges of the tire are worn well.
    Great tire in my opinion.
Also had them on my previous Ducati Streetfighter 1098.
